Cristiana Apostol is a Romanian underwater concept photographer and visual artist based in Bucharest. Her work explores the space where the human form dissolves into water — fabric suspended mid-flow, light fragmenting across a submerged face, the surface mirroring a world inverted.
Each image is a collaboration between photographer, model, and element. The results are cinematic, otherworldly, and deeply considered — fine art underwater portrait photography that has earned international recognition from Paris to Zagreb.
